Requesting an Absentee Ballot


 

 

According to Michigan law, you may request an absentee ballot for any of the following reasons:
  • You are 60 years of age or older.
  • You are physically unable to attend the polls with the assistance of another.
  • You are an appointed precinct worker in a precinct other than the precinct where you reside.
  • You expect to by absent from the community in which you are registered for the entire time the polls are open on election day.
  • You cannont attend the polls because of the tenets of your religion.
  • You cannont attend the polls because you are confined to jail awaiting arraignment or trial.
If you are eligible to vote absentee, you may download the application, complete it, and return to the West Bloomfield Township Clerk's Department:
