Welcome to our payment site: 2012 Winter Taxes and Water/Sewer Payments
You are responsible for ensuring your check clears your bank. If your check does not clear, the payment will be voided and taxes will remain unpaid. TOWNHALL, 4550 Walnut Lake Road, West Bloomfield MI 48323 HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. If paying in person, please bring entire bill with payment. The top portion of your tax bill and the bottom portion of you water bill will be your receipt. AFTER HOURS DROP BOX For your convenience there is a gray drop box located on the east side of town hall on the drive-thru island. The box is clearly marked for payments. Please DO NOT deposit cash in this drop box. Payments by check can be deposited in this drop box 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Payments submitted during non-business hours will be received by the Treasurer when the office reopens. U.S. MAIL Return the bottom portion of your tax bill, or the top portion of your water bill with your payment. UPS or FedEx SERVICES Return the bottom portion of your tax bill, or the top portion of your water bill with your payment. Payments will be recorded on the day received. Penalties are NOT waived for failure of a carrier to deliver to us on time. ONLINE PAYMENTS AND PARCEL INFORMATION West Bloomfield Township and BS&A have partnered to provide free parcel information for residents (up to 10 parcels that you own) and online tax and water payment options. Information related to parcels other than your own has a minimal per parcel cost. If you wish to pay bills on this site please be aware that there is a third party convenience fee. ONLINE BANKING/eBanking (Pay from checking or savings account) If you choose to initiate payment through your financial institution, please be sure your payment is sent to: 4550 Walnut Lake Road West Bloomfield, MI 48323 You will need your bank routing number from your savings or checking account number to make a payment. Please verify with your bank that payment will be received by the date you specify. eBanking is not electronic. Your bank works with a third party vendor that cuts a physical check and mails it to West Bloomfield Township. This is often a lengthy process. If you use eBanking at your financial institution please allow enough time for the check to be cut, mailed and received. We cannot waive interest/penalties due to late tax payments. ELECTRONIC FUND TRANSFER – MVP Banking - ACH PAYMENTS There is no charge for this service however a $30 fee will be assessed if your bank rejects payment to us due to insufficient funds, account closed, or incorrect account information. Be sure to enter your information correctly and have available funds in your account on the date of payment. If you encounter any problems, please email us or call us at 248-451-4860. We will make every effort to assist you, including online help setting up your account information. When you are ready to pay your bill, click here and follow the directions on the site. You will be asked to input access code, 3185 for tax payments and 3167 for water payments. Please do not exit until you receive a confirmation number. See below for more specific instructions. Tax Payment Instructions For taxes, your account number is your Parcel ID Number, which is shown in the box on your statement coupon as Parcel ID number. It is a ten-digit number beginning X-18 or 99, e.g. X-18-12-345-678. Enter the ten-digit number as it appears in the box, without the dash. Type the access code 3185 and click on the type of payment. You may call our provider directly for assistance at 1-888-388-5959. Tax payments initiated using this system (MVP banking) will be honored on the date they are initiated. You cannot use this payment option after the due date. Water and Sewer Payment Instructions Your water/sewer account number is a six-digit number printed on your bill. Enter your account number without the dash. You may also choose to make automatic quarterly payments for water/sewer accounts by choosing the 'quarterly' option. Type the access code 3167 and click on the type of payment. You may call our provider directly for assistance at 1-888-388-5959 or click on the following link quarterly request, print and complete the form and then submit to our office for processing. You may deliver your quarterly request form in person, by mail or by fax to 248-451-4865. DELINQUENT TAX INQUIRIES Beginning March 1, 2012 all unpaid 2011 taxes (summer and winter) including additional penalties must be paid to: Contact the Oakland County Treasurer's office prior to sending payment to confirm the amount owed.
